This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you interact with this website, how we use it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

Server log files

When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser sends to the server. This includes the requested URL, your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and the time of access. This data is processed under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for the secure operation of the site and is deleted within 14 days.

Contact form & email

If you reach out via our contact form or by email, the information you provide (name, email address, message, optional company) is used solely to respond to your request, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in customer service). We retain enquiry data for as long as required by tax and commercial law.

3. Cookies & analytics

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies to operate. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or behavioural analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will request your consent via a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are set.

4. Hosting & processors

The site is hosted on infrastructure located in the European Union. We have signed a data processing agreement (DPA) with our hosting provider in line with Art. 28 GDPR.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data (Art. 15)
  • Rectify incorrect personal data (Art. 16)
  • Erase your personal data (Art. 17)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77) — for us this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
